The Cordifin Group operates in the metallurgical sector. The Group is active in the aluminum alloy production sector through its subsidiary Sacal S.p.A. – Società Alluminio Carisio and in the copper and zinc semi-finished products industry through Simar S.p.A. – Società Metalli Marghera.

Moreover, the Group is able to verticalise all the main phases of the electronic waste recovery and recycling cycle within the Group and in Italy; this is not an irrelevant intangible asset, given that, usually, the materials obtained from the so-called first treatment must then be sent for refining in plants generally located in Northern Europe with significant logistical (and environmental) costs.

Cordifin is a holding company operating mainly in two sectors: the industrial sector, more specifically the industrial metals sector, and the real estate sector. In addition, a number of other activities and business initiatives are carried out directly through special purpose companies or by participating in entrepreneurial joint ventures with third parties. In its peculiar function of coordinating the Group’s activities, Cordifin carries out treasury and finance, insurance, personnel administration services and corporate secretarial services. It also provides support in legal, contractual, technical and specialist activities. The management power exercised by Cordifin over its subsidiaries is solely aimed at pursuing the Group’s interests and obtaining compensatory benefits.
